a tripe
while revising i've found so many sites with things like this:

"hi i'm loserface, i'm 43 and i suck at life. I have (insert medical problem) and i've read that this is because of (insert poorly understood theory). my doctor thinks i should go on this medication but i've heard that it can worsen the condition/ruin my kidneys/make my balls fall off. WHAT DO U THINK"

trust your fucking doctor :@ they get stuff wrong sometimes but
LET'S BE FAIR
he has a better chance of getting it right than you?!

I've been looking at Kittens a lot recently.

One place I found only vaccinated their kittens Homeopathically...

Apparently a lot of parents vaccinate their kids homeopathically too.

Sites like

Sites like <a href"http://www.whatreallyworks.co.uk/start/kidszone.asp?article_ID=291">this</a> make me so fucking angry. The author is clearly educated, literate, and intellectual, yet either a) cannot see past their own ignorance or b) CAN, and is intentionally wording this article to badmouth vaccines and promote homeopathy. It's ironic how the bottom speaks of the "financial gain" doctors recieve upon vaccinating (let's be fair this is because the cost of treating a measles epidemic greatly outweighs the cost of doing the vaccine, and will save many children's lives), yet the whole site is geared at getting you to buy homeopathic bollocks.

I've never understood why people don't get their kids vaccinated, it's rather beyond me.
For some reason I wasn't offered the MMR when I was in highschool, so I ended up a vaccine short, and when my parents were thinking about it (because they were going to get my sister vaccinated) I caught Mumps.

Any kid I have is going to be vaccinated with everything going.

Dr. Cox: So you’re declining chemo because Wikipedia says that a Raw Food diet reverses the effects of Bone Cancer…? Well, hey- any info you have that I can pass on to my other patients would just be super… and by-the-by…while you’re on your computer perhaps you could jump over to a little site called rateyourdoc.org…?

…a few minutes later…

Patient: There. I gave you five stars.

Dr. Cox: Thank you! And now, I have to take your laptop from you as I’ve deemed you just too darn stupid to use it. See, those bell peppers that you’re munching? They aren’t going to do a truckload of jack against the cancer raging inside of your body. Of course, I’ve only been a doctor for some TWENTY YEARS and the person who wrote that Wikipedia entry also authored the Battlestar Galactica Episode Guide…so what the heck do I know…? But… if you feel like living? Page me.
